• Quality services for individuals with disabilities have a direct, positive impact not only on the individuals served, but also on the communities that make up the state of North Carolina. Quality services make good business sense.
• Ongoing state commitment to develop and support an adequate, equitable spectrum of state and local services is essential to an effective system of services for individuals with disabilities.

We advocate that the state of North Carolina provide the necessary services and supports individuals with disabilities need to strive for economic and social independence.
